No struggle could ever stop this man from praising God! This homeless man belts out his very own rendition of the classic ‘Amazing Grace.’
With a caption, “Never judge a book by its cover, homeless can sing!!!,” his video was posted on the Facebook page Follow Jesus. 2 days after being posted, this video was already viewed 102 thousand times and still counting!
Homelessness is still one of the major problems not just in the United States but even all around the world. According to an article, approximately 3.5 million people become homeless in the United States during the course of a given year, according to the National Law Center on Homelessness and Poverty. And according to an article posted by the Yale University, based on national reports, it estimated that no less than 150 million people, or about 2 percent of the world’s population, are homeless.
Homelessness is a worldwide problem. However, being a victim of that same problem, this homeless man still finds it in his heart to worship God. With no fancy lights or even a microphone, this man sings his heart out to God. Worship should not be circumstantial, it should be a lifestyle! In the midst of his suffering what comes out of this man is a song of praise to the One who’s with him in this suffering. Isn’t that amazing?
